It was my senior year in high school and his 2nd year in college 
Our friend Taylor actually introduced us one day at a gas station.
Not such an exciting place to meet but it was what it was. Hears where it gets intriguing. So after a couple of times hanging out i started to Really like him, so i would come home and tell my sister all about it and she finally asked his name, so i said his name and she goes no, no, no. I was like what the heck why are you saying No! She says "I know him" I was like no you don't. She goes "yes i do" I asked her details and she said you know that guy I had a crush on when i went to school I was like yeah she  goes that's him. I gasped I couldn't even believe it was the same guy. She goes you cant date him!! I Said why not (he's sweet, charming , opens the door for me, runs out of his car to kiss me for the first time) you know. She goes you cant date him because hes a player, and if you know my sister you know its funny when she would say player even though she's older than me by 4 years, shes the dorky, sweet, tender one. never does anything bad, or exciting. Yeah that one LOL so you see how this is funny. So long story short she told me not to date him and here we are still together 4 years. You may think this is messed up because I took my sisters crush but no it wasn't like that. She was well over him by the time i got there. {hehehe}
